In my personal art practice as an abstract painter, collage artist and photographer I develop my work with a spontaneous, improvisational approach. Using a variety of mediums I create layered pieces that are often cropped and reassembled to reveal new, secondary compositions. In this process of exploration and play, I cultivate a safe space, full of freedom and meditative presence.
My joy lies in moments of genuine surprise and inconspicuous beauty — when a composition reveals itself to me from the silent, impalpable space in between things.
